This is a most elegant George III period longcase / grandfather clock by one of the most noteworthy clockmakers of the period.
Small size and elegant proportions - the case stands only 90" tall - and is in exemplary original condition down to the original paper blind fret in the hood so often missing.
The style is unmistakable as Bristol / Bath with the wavy edge to the hood door / double pediment with paper frets but such a wonderful small size
The movement is eight day duration and the time is displlayed to the engraved and silvered
brass dial with original blued steel hands. The centre of the dial is engraved in a very distinctive text "Thomas Bullock - Bath" there is an window for the date and a seconds dial.
